Pathway to Quality: Overview of Child Care Regulation Conference

The Early Learning Alliance was proud to sponsor the Child Care Regulation 12th Annual Training Conference on Saturday, April 6th, 2024. Hosted by the Northeast District Advisory Committee for Child Care Regulation, the conference was titled “Pathway to Quality: Embracing the Spirit of Discovery.”

Connie Presley, Program Administrator of Child Care Regulation, noted:

“Over 800 child care business owners and early education professionals were registered for this free day of training. 104 training sessions were offered throughout the day in over 60 early education and management topics, including teacher-child interaction, social-emotional development, building a quality workforce and several others. The keynote speaker, Ellen Booth Church, did a fabulous session based on her book Nurturing Next Generation Innovators. Every attendee present received a copy of her book at the end of the day and a lucky few received autographed copies. This conference is possible through the generous support of our sponsors including the Early Learning Alliance.”

ELA would also like to wish Connie Presley joy as she steps into retirement after 33 years of service with Child Care Regulation. A tireless advocate for child care and proud member of ELA, Connie’s impact on early learning in Tarrant County cannot be overstated!
